Front-end Web Developer and Designer

Macmillan Publishers

New York, New York / June 2013–September 2014 (worked in similar capacity at Macmillan since October 2011)

This position at Macmillan was essentially a formal recognition of my ongoing web design and front-end development work for the company. My daily duties consisted of coding responsive web sites and creating responsive landing-page templates for the marketing team, creating mobile-adaptive HTML email templates, making JavaScript-powered proprietary tools to assist the marketers, setting up A/B landing page testing and general troubleshooting.

Projects I worked on in their entirety include a JavaScript-powered internal web application to generate Google Analytics event tracking code for the marketing team, a custom-coded Wordpress single-page application that allowed the marketers to easily curate small collections of thematically-related backlist/mid-list titles, a similarly structured eDeals page with self-expiring discounts, an automated buy button generator and more.
